Council boss visits Onisabe's palace, promises early completion of edifice

The Executive Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos Mainland Local Government, Honourable Omiyale Kayode has expressed joy at the pace of work on the Onisabe of Igbobi - Sabe's Palace, which is nearing completion.

The Executive Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA)  in Lagos Mainland Local Government, Honourable Omiyale Kayode has expressed joy at the pace of work on the Onisabe of Igbobi - Sabe's Palace, which is nearing completion.
 
"As a foremost royal father, you deserve a worthy and befitting palace that is commensurable to your status," Omiyale said.
 
"It is not easy to put up a solid structure like this on your own,we are a responsible people with a responsive governmental knowledge, we are going to meet and deliberate on how to bring this palace to a completed end," Omiyale promised.

The Onisabe of Igbobi - Sabe Kingdom HRM Oba Owolabi Adeyemi Adeniyi , Maforunyomi 1, and his lovely wife, thanked the Chairman for finding time out of his tight schedule to visit the site of the on-going palace project named,  Maforunyomi Palace.
Oba Adeniyi said: "You have shown clearly that you love and respect traditional institutions, I have a befitting means of movement which is worthy of my status in the society , you made it happen and I am confident that this palace will also attract your attention."
 
The well-travelled and educated Kabiyesi took the Chairman and members of his entourage round the nearly completed palace project.
 
Those on the Chairman's entourage were the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adetayo Adekiitan Oyemade; Council Engineer Lukman Thompson; Council Treasurer, Demola Jimoh-Balogun, Head of Public Affairs Office, Olusegun Akinyemi and other media crew members.
