Victor Boniface survives car crash in Germany

SUPER Eagles of Nigeria and Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface has survived a ghastly car crash on Sunday in Germany.

Boniface was on his way to the airport to pick up his friends in his Mercedes Benz when the incident occurred as the car collided with an oncoming truck.

According to the police, Boniface was a passenger in the vehicle as the driver lost control of the car due to tiredness, skidded into the truck, and was overturned by the collision.

The player was rushed to the hospital as he only suffered two minor hand injuries, No details of the driver or any other potential passengers’ conditions are recorded.

Boniface confirming his health status wrote on X: ‘God is the greatest’ and “God says my time hasn’t come.”

It is unknown when the player will be fit to play, but Leverkusen will hope to have the striker back in action for their UEFA Champions League away fixture against Brest on Wednesday.
