ARSENAL defender, Benjamin White has hailed his teammate, William Saliba, referring to the Frenchman as “absolutely incredible”.
Saliba, since becoming a part of Arsenal's first team, has been an important figure in the team, which has seen remarkable consistency in defence over the past two seasons.
Ben White speaking on the player, who was signed in 2019 by Unai Emery for £27 million but made his debut in 2022 under Mikel Arteta said, “Saliba is absolutely incredible."
"There’s nothing I could say that is a weakness or something that he probably needs to work on. I know that everyone needs to work on something but the way he’s playing he’s still so young,” White said via Metro.
“It’s so weird. In training, you obviously see glimpses of how good he is, but in a game, it’s a completely different level and it shows.
“He can just cruise training, nobody goes past him. It’s literally like nobody even tries because they just know there’s no point,” he added.
Saliba's performance has attracted interest from Real Madrid who are looking to swoop in on the young player when the 2025 summer transfer window opens.
