Rasmus Hojlund gets new shirt number

MANCHESTER UNITED striker, Rasmus Hojlund has been assigned a new jersey number to represent ahead of next season with the Red Devils.

The 21-year-old Danish footballer is set to take on a new challenge at Manchester United, switching from the number 11 to the iconic number 9 jersey.

At first, Hojlund was appointed the number 11 jersey last season, but following the departure of Anthony Martial who wore the No. 9 jersey, Hojlund has been handed over the responsibility.

Meanwhile, the vacant number 11 shirt could be poised for new signing Joshua Zirkzee, who has previously worn numbers 9, 10, and 11 during his time with Dutch youth teams.

Hojlund, who registered 10 Premier League goals in his first season with the Red Devils now joins the history of legendary number 9s, such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic
