Qualified teams for AFCON 2025

THE final list of the 24 teams to participate in the 2025 AFCON tournament has been confirmed following the completion of the qualifier fixtures.

Morocco will hold the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2025. It will be played between 21 December 2025 and 18 January 2026 and promises drama, suspense, and thrill.

As expected, all of the top 10 Nations in the Africa FIFA rankings (Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Cameroon, Mali, and DR Congo) have all qualified for the tournament.

Zimbabwe, who have not qualified since 2021, have booked their place as we also see exciting returns for Benin (2019), Botswana (2012), Gabon (2021), Uganda (2019), and Sudan (2021).

Comoros, Mozambique, and Botswana are among the underdogs to have secured a place in the continental football battle.
