ENGLAND captain and Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane has revealed who he believes is the world’s best footballer at the moment.
Most of the time, the argument has been between Argentina captain, Lionel Messi and Portugal forward and captain, Cristiano Ronaldo with some football fans adding France's Kylian Mbappe to the argument.
Harry Kane, who himself is one of the greatest strikers in the world and for a long time in his career was among the top 10 best footballers in the world gave his opinion.
The Bayern Munich man was clear in his answer as he crowned World Cup winner and eight times Ballon d'Or recipient, Lionel Messi as the best footballer in the world.
“Who is the best player in the world right now? Lionel Messi. He's had a fantastic Copa America again and he is still playing at a really high level," he said.
At 37, Lionel Messi remains central to Argentina's plans contributing to the team's success over the years. Despite his age, the player is still in contention to play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to be hosted by USA, Canada, and Mexico.
