JUST a few hours after surprising Davido at his wedding ceremony, Nigerian rap heavyweight, Olamide has again surprised fans by dropping a new EP.

The EP, which is titled “Ikigai / 生き甲斐, Vol. 1″ (Ikigai translates to “a reason for living” in Japanese) came as a surprise to fans as the singer didn’t drop a teaser or announcement to the EP.

The EP contains seven tracks with several exciting collaborations from artists, such as YBNL family Asake and Fireboy DML on Uptown Disco and talented vocalist, SABRI joins Olamide for the captivating “Knockout.”

The highlight for many fans will be the seventh track, “Synchro System,” which sees a reunion as Olamide brings back Pheelz, Young Jonn, and Lil Kesh – all former members of his YBNL label.

Ikigai, which is already top on the Apple music charts is a joint project by his YBNL and American music company, Empire Distribution, with which Olamide signed an international music distribution deal in December 2023.
