WIFE of the late talented Nigerian singer, Mohbad, Omowunmi, revealed that she met her late husband on the social media app 2go.
According to Omowunmi, she met Mohbad 12 years ago when they were both teenagers when she was 13 and he was 15, and they started their relationship as friends before progressing to lovers.
Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, Omowunmi said, “I met him when I was 13 on 2Go. That was 12 years ago. I used to be a rapper and he sang, too, so we started as friends.
“We were very young then. He was 15. He proposed a relationship to me and I accepted. We later got married and had a child together.”
Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, and was buried less than 24 hours after that. However, on September 21, his body was exhumed for an autopsy due to controversies surrounding his death.
