Jelili meets natural healers in Alimosho

IN continuation of his interest in the development of medicine and cures for common ailments with very high mortality rates, the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has met with the LGA’s natural healers, comprising tradomedical healers and local midwives.

Information reaching AlimoshoToday affirms that the meeting was used to discuss the opportunities in medicine with the use of locally sourced herbs as utilised in other Nations that are advancing medically.

Participants lamented the ill-treatment they have faced at the hands of Government officials who are more interested in what they have to pay than solving their challenges. 

However, the council Boss assured them of the Local Government’s plans to make life easy for them and the council’s readiness to accommodate all they will need to do their job perfectly.

The council Chairman also stated that a structure that will be used as a laboratory, treatment and monitoring of patients and mass production of drugs has been put in place awaiting their arrival. 

Participants affirmed their readiness, stating that they have high hopes for the council Chairman and are, therefore, ready to give him their full cooperation.

Also in attendance at the event was the council Executive Vice-Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson; the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr Dare Ogunkoya; the Council-Manager, Mrs Akinola-Yussuf; as well as the Supervisors for Health, Works and Agric, Youth and Social development.
