THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has flagged off infrastructure projects within the LGA with the official opening of Alhaji Musbaudeen Alani Olaleye Ultra-modern market by Pako bus-stop, Akowonjo.

This commissioning, which took place on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, was followed by the official opening of Azeez Ayorinde Street in Alimosho, which is another project executed by the present administration to ease the long-time suffering of the residents of the area.

While declaring the market open for use, the Alaye of Orisumbare land, Oba Akibu Adebowale, appreciated the Council Boss for the actualisation of the projects.

Also, the Elegbeda of Egbeda land commended the Council Chairman for his administration’s achievements.

Note that within the administration that started in 2021, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has completed a two-storey administrative building and furnished and equipped it for use. He has also constructed about five roads, which include Odebummi Street at Miccom, Santos Layout, Banire Street, and Adebanjo Street, among others to include the construction of drainages. While some of these roads have been completed, others numbering about five are under construction.

Jelili has within the period built an ultra-modern health centre at Akowonjo and now at Olorungbebe area (Ologufe) to complement those he did in his first term in office.

This is in addition to the uncountable office and learning support equipment for schools and pupils in the primary schools in the Local Government and other monetary and material palliatives.
