AS part of his promises to ensure infrastructural development in the Alimosho Constituency ll, the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing the Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph has facilitated the reconstruction of Ibidunni Towolawi Street, which connects Ayere Street/Tejumola Estate and links Ogunseye Street, off Aro-Baba Road, in the Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
Kehinde Joseph, during an interview, reiterated that the completion of this project will bring immense relief to residents, business owners, and motorists in the area, as it connects key locations and enhances accessibility.
"The project's significance extends beyond infrastructure development, as it will stimulate economic growth and enhance the overall quality of life for residents, which shows that my commitment to participatory governance prioritises constituents' needs, and promotes inclusive and equitable development.
"The community is collaborating with contractors to ensure timely completion, for they see that the project's transformative impact will be far-reaching, benefiting everyone through improved transportation networks, economic opportunities, and enhanced well-being.
“I extend my immense gratitude to Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, for his invaluable support in making this project a reality. Under his leadership, the Assembly has consistently prioritised initiatives promoting Lagosians' welfare," he maintained.
The project encompasses cutting-edge drainage and channelisation systems, thorough scarifying and scraping, meticulous filling, and road infrastructure construction, which will address perennial challenges of flooding, erosion, and inadequate road conditions, fostering socioeconomic growth and a conducive business environment.
