THE National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Egbe-Idimu Local Branch, is set to host its inaugural Egbe-Idimu Youth Week. The event, themed "Innovate, Activate, Elevate: Youth Leadership in the 21st Century," aims to empower youths in the community through leadership development programmes.
The four-day event, scheduled to take place from December 20 to 23, 2024, will feature a range of activities, including:
- Jumat Service and X-mas Carol on Friday, December 20
- Visitations on Saturday, December 21
- Thanksgiving Church Service on Sunday, December 22
- Youth Leadership Summit on Monday, December 23
The summit will bring together seasoned speakers, government officials, and youth leaders to discuss topics relevant to youth development. The event will also include panel sessions, lectures, capacity building, entertainment, and networking opportunities.
According to Com. Shittu A. Moshood, Host Coordinator, "The Egbe-Idimu Youth Week is designed to positively reshape the future of our youth. We believe that by empowering our youths, we can build a brighter future for our community."
