AT the inaugural programme of the Ifesowapo Anuoluwapo (Alimosho) Cooperative Agricultural Multipurpose Society, held on February 23, 2024, at the Multipurpose Hall of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, the newly inaugurated President of the Association, Mrs Folashade Titilayo Liadi, appreciated the member of the House of Representatives in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, for his unwavering support and immense contribution to constituents’ empowerment and development.
Ayuba, who is on a national assignment, was represented by Hon. Wale Azeez, the immediate past Supervisor for Works in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, commended the members of the Cooperative and encouraged the newly inaugurated Executives to diligently perform their duties.
Also at the event was the Secretary to the Local Government of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Ayo Orimolade, who commended the kind gestures of the member of the House of Representatives and his efforts to ameliorate the sufferings of his constituents.
Note that the Cooperative metamorphosed from the Mayor K.K. Agripreneurship Programme (MAP), sponsored by Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba. The MAP was a three-day Fish Farming Training and Empowerment held in October 2023 for people in his constituency. Each recipient returned home with fish feed, fingerling-sized catfish, and adequate financial assistance.
Also at the event were the Supervisor for Agric and Rural Development in Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Abolarinwa Olufemi; the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. (Mrs) Aina Macaulay; and the SSA on Agric and Rural Matters in Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Mr Ishola Kazeem Olaonipekun, among others.
