THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa has joined fellow Nigerians to commemorate the nation’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
In his independence message today Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the council Boss said: “Dear constituents, today, we pay tribute to our heroes whose names are etched on our monuments, memorials, in the pages of history, and the hearts of very grateful people.
“I want to laud our unwavering resilience and unity demonstrated so far in navigating the diverse socio-economic hurdles since Independence. Our shared values and commitment to forging a peaceful and prosperous future despite the hardship we are faced with as a nation have kept us moving.
“Together, we can help the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu work to safeguard democracy, strengthen security, protect human rights, tackle the climate crisis, and promote trade, investment, and inclusive growth.
“I, hereby, call on all Nigerians, especially the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA to embrace the spirit of optimism and perseverance amidst current challenges with a resolute commitment to driving positive change and fostering unity, even as we continue to express confidence in our ability to overcome adversities and thrive wonderfully well.
