TO commemorate his fifth-year on the throne, the Baale of Oki Kingdom in Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Chief Adedayo Badeyemo Oki, promised the people of Oki that the throne will continue to fight against insecurity in the community.

This, he said, will improve the lives of people in his community.

The monarch who spoke at a briefing to commemorate his fifth-year coronation anniversary said the anniversary activities will include a Community Advocacy Workshop on drug abuse, mental health and ageing process, social welfare for School Children and the aged population, cultural festival, arts and entertainment and the installation of titled chiefs and giving of awards.

“Despite the fact that the whole world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, God spared me, my community and well-wishers from the disease.

“We are collaborating with the police to reduce crimes in our community,” he said

The Coronation was initially scheduled for May 1, but was rescheduled by the Royal council to June 4 till 6, 2021.
