Maduka Okoye happy to be in goal against Rwanda

SUPER Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye is expected to be in goal when Nigeria plays Rwanda at the 2025 AFCON qualifier today.

Okoye, speaking with Victor Modo, the Udinese keeper noted that he is glad to be making the starting lineup again, especially in front of the home fans.

“This is the moment I have been waiting for. I have been attending camp for a long time now, and finally, I have the chance to play again.

“I’m thankful and I cannot wait to put on the jersey again and play in front of the Nigerian fans at home in Nigeria,” he said.

Despite already securing their place in the AFCON 2025 competition, the Super Eagles would be hoping to finish the qualifiers on a high note against Rwanda.
