MANCHESTER United are getting close to completing the signing of Leny Yoro from Lille with the player set to undergo his medicals at the club.
The two clubs have agreed to a €50m fixed fee plus €12m add-ons for the 18-year-old defender who started his senior career at the club in 2022.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, United are now confident they have beaten Real Madrid to Yoro’s signature.
Romano tweeted on Wednesday morning: “Manchester United have booked travel and medical tests for Leny Yoro!
“Plan ready after agreement reached with Lille last week for €50m fixed fee plus €12m add-ons.
“There’s still work needed to get the deal done, Man United now confident as @David_Ornstein reports.”
Should things go according to plan, Yoro would be United’s second summer signing after Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
