NEWLY promoted Laliga Club, Almeria, is set to let go of Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Umar Sadiq, for a fee in the region of €30Million.
The Kaduna-born striker who was Almeria's highest goal scorer last season will be leaving the club soon for a fee in the region of €30M with BVB Dortmund and Villareal showing interest.
The club’s CEO Mohamed El Assy confirmed that a bid of €30 million has been accepted for him as his move away from the club is imminent.
“Umar Sadiq has not travelled to England to avoid any type of injury that could stop a transfer that is close at this time.
“He will be sold for a little less than €30 million. We have 12-13 other players that have received offers, they are players who have a prestige in the market and we hope that they have a great future," El Assy told Mundo Deportivo.
Umar Sadiq joined Almeria 2 years ago, scoring 22 goals in his debut season before he went on to add another 18 league goals the next season, as he helped the club get promoted to the Laliga.
