CHELSEA'S Head Coach, Enzo Maresca says that winger, Mykhailo Mudryk must change his style and needs to be consistent with his performance for the club.

The Ukraine international has met expectations at Chelsea since joining in January 2023 and again put up another frustrating performance in Thursday's 2-0 win against Swiss side, Servette in a Conference League qualifying tie.

Speaking after the game, Maresca spoke to reporters about the winger's inconsistency and how he can help the player become better.

“I think this is Misha, this is Mudryk, in terms of not only tonight but in terms of since he joined the club," he told reporters when asked about the winger's inconsistency.

"I think he had some good moments and then some moments like flipping a coin. You don't know if it's one thing or the other thing. This is Misha. If he can become more consistent, he can take one step forward.

"It never feels like he is going to change... We are going to try and help him change. He needs to try and understand that we are going to give him the ball in the last third. And when he's there [it's about] taking the right decision. For me, most of the mistakes from Misha is not about the quality or the technical mistake, it's about the choice," he added.

Mudryk, who scored five goals and got two assists in the Premier League last season will hope to be involved on Sunday when they come up against Wolves.
