ARSENAL suffered a 2-1 loss to Liverpool earlier today at the ongoing pre-season games, which took place at the Lincoln Financial Field a Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
First-half goals from Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho gave the Reds a two-goal lead before Kai Havertz pulled one back for the Gunners in the 40th minute.
Into the second half, Arsenal tried to find the equaliser but Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, and Eddie Nketiah were unable to convert their chances, which Arteta reacted to.
“When you’re in those spaces in the box [it is about] putting the ball in the net,” Arsenal's boss said about his team's misses in front of goal.
“We created the situations. We had two or three more big situations as well. We have to improve,” he said.
The Gunners will continue their pre-season friendly against Bayer Leverkusen at Emirates Stadium next Wednesday.
