THE Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced that it had uncovered over 3,000 individuals who falsely claim to be university graduates despite never having attended a university.

According to media reports, Oloyede made this revelation during a meeting with the leadership of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of State Universities (COPSUN).9515

The Board has documented these cases and is working to address the issue of illegal admissions in tertiary institutions, which Oloyede described as an “embarrassment and disservice to the nation.”

This discovery highlights the need for increased vigilance and accountability in the education sector to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure the integrity of university degrees.
