Lagos State Government has debunked viral news on social media described as fake, that the State has re-introduced the monthly environmental sanitation and will not be starting any movement restriction by the end of the month. Wahab explained that what Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced on Sunday during a sanitation sensitisation exercise at Campos playground Lagos Island was that the State would start a weekly community-based sensitisation and awareness exercise that would involve all residents.

THE Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced a farewell gift of N100,000 for each Corps member departing the camp and a sum of N100 million for the NYSC support staff while also pledging N5 billion for Lagos NYSC permanent site.

3.  LASU, 2 LAGOS UNIVERSITIES SIGN PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH SPELMAN COLLEGE, ATLANTA189m
Lagos State University, LASU, on Monday, July 15, 2024, joined two other Lagos Universities – the University of Lagos, UNILAG, and Pan-Atlantic University to sign a cooperative agreement with Spelman College, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The agreement is aimed at establishing a framework for collaboration and cooperation between the four universities to advance women's education, STEM Education, creative industries and faculty, and students' international exchange programmes in mutually beneficial ways.

4.  LASG TO BAN DANFO, KOROPE ON OCTOBER 1184ki
The Lagos State Government has clarified plans to ban Danfo And Korope buses along the Lekki-Epe corridor starting from October 1, 2024. According to media reports, the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended.
