THE Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. (Princess) Olabisi Adebajo, has welcomed the residents of the council area to the Year 2024, adding that the year will be loaded with happiness.
The council Boss, in her New Year message, said: “I thank God for His mercies that saw us all through the Year 2023; it was no doubt an interesting and productive year, but also a tasking and engaging year in all spheres.
“This would not have been possible without the firm support of our leaders, officers, and members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), all other stakeholders, groups in the council and teeming residents, who appreciated all that we did in the light of the state of the resources of the council.
“I must also thank the Mosan-Okunola LCDA management team led by Fola Hamzat (Mrs) and the members of staff for putting their very best into ensuring the smooth and seamless running of the secretariat and outpost office units. You are one of the best crop of civil servants anyone could wish for. Working with you is a pleasant and worthwhile experience. Let’s do it again this Year 2024 please.
“Armed with the 2023 appropriation legislation, we look forward to another year of outstanding successes and in delivering the dividends of democracy to our dear constituents.
“In the coming year, we intend to start the construction and rehabilitation of more roads in each Wards, which we stated during our Budget Stakeholders and Consultative Forum we held in December.
“We call on all residents, stakeholders, contractors, statutory organisations, civil and public servants to continue to meaningfully partner with the council in 2024. We assure everyone and all organisations of profitable association throughout this New Year, as we are poised to deliver on all constitutional imposed responsibilities on our administration.
“Don’t be discouraged by whatever you might have gone through in the past year. As you have entered the New Year 2024, count God’s blessings in your life over the past year and see that God is great.
“I pray that this year brings renewed hope, restoration, happiness, goals, achievements, and a lot of new inspiration for your life. Wishing you a year fully loaded with happiness.
