THE Executive Chairman of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Bola Shobowale has felicitated with the council area’s Muslim Ummah as they celebrate the Year 2024 Eid-el-Kabir festival.
The council Boss's goodwill message to the Muslim constituents read: “As the world commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's life of sacrifice and obedience to Almighty Allah this Eid-El-Kabir, it is with a great deal of pleasure that I extend my warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah and all the people of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area.
“I send special salutations to the good people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA for allowing me to serve them in this capacity as their council Chairman.
“This year's celebrations present us with an opportunity to reflect soberly on the state of affairs of our world, our country, our State, and our beloved LCDA so that we can wholeheartedly thank Allah for the trials we have faced and the progress we have made.
“I assure you of my commitment and re-dedicating myself to providing selfless service to you the people of Ayobo-Ipaja. All that is required of you is your continued support and prayers for the success of this administration in all aspects of governance.
“We must keep before our minds at all times the real essence of the Eid-el-Kabir, which is to recall and be challenged by the willingness, steadfastness, sacrifice, obedience and devotion to Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“On the celebration of this joyous occasion, I call on the people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA to rise against every odds, put prejudices aside, and strengthen the bonds of friendship, love, and unity in our beloved LCDA.
“May Allah in His infinite mercy accept our Ibadah and may He fill our lives, homes, families, businesses, communities and our dear LCDA, State and Country with His barakah. Ameen.
