NIGERIA AT 64: Akinsanya prays for peaceful, united Nigeria

THE Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya has prayed for a peaceful and united Nigeria as the nation commemorates its 64th Independence Day anniversary.

In his independence message to the Igando-Ikotun resident, Akinsanya said: “It gives me great pleasure to offer my warmest congratulations on the 64th anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence, and happy New Month together with my best wishes to continued happiness and prosperity.

“I wish to, on behalf of my family, the staff, and the management of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, felicitate with the good people of our council area on this auspicious occasion of the 64th Independence anniversary of Nigeria. This independence of Nigeria came with a lot of sacrifices and as such, we must not fail to remember and celebrate the labours of our heroes past.

“I encourage Nigerians to keep hope alive and endeavour to keep supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Renewed Hope Initiative.

“As we forge ahead, we must reminisce more on the things that bind us together rather than divisive tendencies. A peaceful and united Nigeria with rich diversity can surmount any obstacle that may rear its head.

“Once again, happy anniversary and welcome to a New Month.”
