JUST days to the APC primary elections, APC aspirant and former NULGE Chairman, Ikotun-Igando LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, trained residents in ikotun, Igando LCDA on Ankara craft, tie and dye, small craft tie and decorations.
Mr. Akinsanya has been cleared and confirmed to participate in the party's primary elections to hold on 28, May 2021.
However, the training was organised through the NGO, Salamotu Dosunmu Skills Acquisition, with the theme, ‘Unlocking the Potential of Innate Creativity for Sustainable Development’.
According to the aspirant, the training was organised to empower unemployed youths in the community.
Akinsanya said, “The skill acquisition programme is a concept we had to impact all the young people and women in the community. We felt that the era of looking for white-collar jobs should be in the past if we harness the creative ability of young people.
“These people we trained will stop looking for jobs, but rather they will work for themselves and employ other people, make a profit and be able to pay their taxes to the government".
