AN APC socio-political group in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, South-South People’s United Forum on Tuesday stormed the office of the Chairman, Comr. Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde to offer their support for his second term bid.
During the visit, the Chairman said he felt the impact of the South-South members during his campaign struggle with the massive turnout while noting that the party has been reassured of their commitment and dedication.
Those who spoke said the endorsement of both the Chairman and his Vice, Hon. Mojisola Badmus was a show of appreciation for how the South-South has been carried along in key decision-making and appointments in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
“We are endorsing both Akinsanya and Mojisola because we want to show our people and our party that we are for them. Everyone from the South-South living in Igando-Ikotun is ready and prepared to deliver and support our party,” the group said.
The group also stated that they have a committee that will embark on a house-to-house campaign until the day of the election.
