Igando-Ikotun community in the Igando Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been thrown into mourning since November 28, after the demise of Honourable Okedara Adewale Muftau.
Comrade Eniola Badmus Oseni, Special Assistant to the LCDA on Media and Publicity made this known in a statement.
The former Lagos State Electricity Board member who served for four years, died at the age of 61.
Hon Jimoh Ajao said: "The death of Wale Okedara hit the depth of my being when I received the unfortunate news. I alongside my late friend who has left this sinful world will continue to serve that place of respect, recognition and service for the patriot.
The Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams, who visited the family of the deceased, described. Okedara's death as a huge loss to Igando-Ikotun LCDA and Alimosho Constituency in general.
Adeshina Williams said: “Alhaji Okedara's demise came at a time the Igando-Ikotun in particular needed his wealth of experience the most.”
