MEMBERS of the Ndigbo of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, have expressed a vote of confidence on Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, the Executive Chairman of the council area and his Vice, Hon. Mojisola Badmus as a tested, trusted, and accountable administration.
During a recent visit to the council Secretariat, the Group applauded Akinsanya for initiating projects that have not only touched lives but brought a fresh wave of governance to the community.
Describing Akinsanya's administration as the ”Golden Era” of governance in the community, the group highlighted several achievements of the Akinsanya administration, including the completion of construction of internal road networks, modern market, solar borehole, purchase of office tools, construction of model primary schools, rehabilitation of health centres, skills acquisition, and so on.
The group also commended Akinsanya for his achievements in education, health, security, infrastructure and entrepreneurship, as well as, staff welfare, stating that these can only be achieved by a council Chairman with a human face.
With the vote of confidence passed on Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde and his Vice, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, the group reaffirmed its support for their second term bid while pledging total support to the administration.
Meanwhile, the Ndigbo Woman leader, Comrade Ebube Success, urged Comrade Akinsanya to continue pushing projects that will yield good dividends of democracy to the people of Igando-Ikotun.
