IN a statement made by the Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media, Mr. Oseni, he reiterated that the beneficiaries included physically challenged persons, artisans, youth, and market men and women that were drawn from the seven council wards in the area.
The Chairman, while handing over the cash to the beneficiaries, said; “if all of you who have benefited now can put the money into small businesses in your various wards, then you can bring development to your wards because of the multiplier effect.”
Comr. Akinsanya explained that the gesture was part of his campaign promises which are geared toward the development of his community.
Hon. Jimoh Ajao, a community leader, advised the beneficiaries not to mismanage the opportunity given to them.
