THE Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K.), has congratulated Chief Atiku Adeshina Sulaimon and Chief Jimoh Ajose on their installation with the customary chieftaincy title of Baba-Oba of Akesan Kingdom and Aare of Akesan Kingdom, respectively.
His goodwill message to the new Chiefs on Monday, February 10, 2025, read: “I wish to express my sincere congratulations to Chief Atiku Adeshina Sulaimon and Chief Jimoh Ajose on their installation with the customary Chieftaincy title of Baba-Oba of Akesan Kingdom and Aare of Akesan Kingdom respectively, under the traditional leadership of HRM. Oba (Dr) Nojeemdeen Abidemi Aberejo (Ogunjobi III, Oduala I), the Alakesan of Akesan Kingdom, Lagos State.
“Chief Atiku was a former Special Adviser to the former Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, late Hon. Mrs. Morenike Adesina and Chief Ajose is presently serving as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Chairman of Isheri-Oshun Ward of Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
“This well-earned honour serves as a testament to your extraordinary passion and commitment to protecting and advancing our rich cultural heritage. I am confident that you will both steadily contribute to the advancement and development of the Akesan Kingdom and her environs.
