Chairman presents generators, furniture to PHCs in Igando/Ikotun LCDA

THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams, has donated new power generating sets and furniture to each of the Primary Health Centres within the LCDA.

With this development, all the primary healthcare centres will henceforth be powered by an alternative source whenever there is a disruption of power supply by the electricity provider.

Moreso, provision of the furniture is to ensure that the primary healthcare centres at Egan, Ikotun and Okerube are equipped for the comfort of the patients.

The donation was presented by the NULGE Branch Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Arowosafe Adesina. Speaking after the handover, Comrade Shina said the donation was made to ensure quality health service delivery at the centre.

“We believe the donation will go a long way in improving services at the health centre. Let me take this opportunity to urge members of staff and the community to take good care of the generator so that it serves its purpose,” he said.
