Akinsanya seeks support of traditional rulers, security agents to end insecurity

THE Igando-Ikotun LCDA has resolved to synergise with relevant security operatives and traditional rulers to tackle insecurity in the community.

The Chairman, Igando Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde said during a joint monthly meeting held yesterday, September 23rd with heads of all the security agencies, community leader, traditional leader, religious leader and council officials, “We have resolved to collectively pursue the issue of insecurity with all vigour by synergising with relevant security operatives and the traditional rulers to tackle the incessant security out-breaches in the community.

“No society truly develops without peace. Thus, all hands must be on deck to ensure that peace and tranquility prevail in our respective communities.

He added, “We have also resolved to introduce a platform in our respective area for the promotion of peaceful coexistence by all ethnic groups.

In response, the heads of all the security agencies present assured the chairman of their readiness to intensify efforts towards improving the security situation in Igando Ikotun. They also thanked Council Chairman for his consistent support and motivation towards security of lives and properties in Igando Ikotun community.
