AS part of his developmental strides in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde has embarked on the rehabilitation of Akinyemi Road, which cuts across over 10 communities in the council area.
The road serves as a bypass and an alternative route to reduce traffic around the Igando area. The long overdue project has been bad for a very long period.
“This project is going to enhance the economic life of the Igando-Ikotun Local Government Area. Work commenced in the community, and the road is called Akinyemi Road. We are doing a lot of adjoining roads around here.
“The road is a bypass linking several communities such as Igando, Akesan, Egan, Agric road, Iyana Iba, Obadore, Isuti, and so on,” Akinsanya noted. 
Comrade Akinsanya is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises and delivering dividends of democracy to his constituents. He is also grateful for the support and cooperation of the State Government, traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders and citizens in achieving his vision for Igando-Ikotun.
