IN a significant move to enhance governance and fulfil campaign promises, the Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Community Development Committee, CDC, modern hall at the secretariat in Ikotun.
According to Mr Victor Emmanuel's architectural design, the new facility includes a reception hall, executive chamber, secretary’s office, the CDC Chairman’s office, toilet, and a private inner office.
The materials required for the construction up to the roofing level, which are already on site are a testament to Akinsanya's commitment to transparency and swift execution.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Akinsanya emphasised the importance of this project in modernising the grassroots impact, enhancing administrative efficiency, and fulfilling promises made during his campaign to the CDC and CDAs.
The ceremony reached its peak with the official blessing of the foundation before the groundbreaking commenced.
The project marks a significant development in Igando-Ikotun’s governance infrastructure, showcasing Akinsanya’s vision for inclusive governance and development.
