THE Council Mayor of Igando Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, has urged the newly posted National Youth Service Corps members to accept their postings in good faith.
The Council boss gave the advice while addressing the 2020- 2021 batch at the general community development service CDS Stream to youth corps members posted to the local Council development Area.
Akinsanya said the postings were carefully done to enable corps members to be part of the developmental agenda of the present administration by allowing them contribute positively in certain key areas of the community.
Education, healthcare delivery, social engineering, and agriculture, among others were areas Akinsanya pointed out as 'key areas'.
“I urge all corps members to accept their postings in good faith. I also urge all corps employers not to reject youth corps members posted to their establishments", he said.
“I have no doubt in my mind that you will be good ambassadors of the scheme at your places of primary assignment,’’ he added.
