NIGERIAN superstar, Wizkid’s new song “Piece of My Heart” has set a new record for the most first-day streams on Spotify Nigeria.
The song, which was released on October 19, 2024, accumulated over 1 million streams on Spotify on its first day of release within 24 hours.
This impressive milestone sees Wizkid break the previous record he shared with Asake on their collaboration ‘MMS’ off the latter’s third album ‘Lungu Boy’.
Turntable charts on X tweeted “.@wizkidayo’s “Piece Of My Heart” with Brent Faiyaz recorded 1.01 million streams in its first day of release on Spotify Nigeria.
“It sets a new record for the biggest first-day streams by any song in Spotify Nigeria— surpassing @asakemusik and @wizkidayo’s “MMS” (870K) and “IDK” with @Zlatan_Ibile (626K)."
