AFROBEAT artist, Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid, has picked up seven nominations at the Africa Arts Entertainments Award (AAEA).
The Africa Arts Entertainments Award (AAEA) is an annual event that recognises outstanding achievements in the music industry across Africa.
Wizkid’s nominations at the AAEA include Continental Artist of the Year and Best Continental Male Artist while his project “S2” is also up for Continental Album/EP of the Year.
Additionally, his singles “Money & Love” and “Ebelebe” are both nominated for Best Continental Afro RnB Hit. He also got nominated for Best Continental Intl Feature for “Work Me Out” and Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit for “IDK”.
The AAEA award ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 17, 2024, in Kenya.
