VETERAN movie producer and director, Tunde Kelani has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by an Ibadan-based University, Lead City University.
Lead City University awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Doctor in Letters to the movie director for his noticeable contribution to society.
Tunde Kelani shared the news through an appreciation post on his Instagram page in which he wrote, "It is now on record that on the 12th day of the 12th month of the year 2022, I was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) by Lead City University, Ibadan, one of the leading universities in Nigeria. ”
The Doctor of Letters is a terminal degree in the humanities that, depending on the country, is a higher doctorate after the Doctor of Philosophy degree or equivalent to a higher doctorate, such as the Doctor of Science.
