NIGERIA Grammy-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, who is popularly known as Tems, has hinted at joining the movie industry as an actress in the future.
The 28-year-old Oscar-nominated lady has hinted about coming to play a role in a movie and would love to play the role of a single mum and a gangster.
Speaking in a recent interview with BBC Capital Xtra London, Tems said: “I’m ready to act in movies. Not ready right now, but I’m already good at acting.
“The first character I would love to play is a single mum. It doesn’t need to be struggling. It could be like a fun single mum or a single mum that has mysteries. A gangster.”
Singer Tems became the first Nigerian Oscar nominee when she was recognised for her work with Director Ryan Coogler and Rihanna on the Wakanda Forever track "Lift Me Up."
