POLICE Public Relations Officer in the Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has slammed Nigerian artist, Ayo Maff over his lyrics in his new song.
Ayo Maff's new song titled “Last Week” has an opening verse in which the singer bragged about using Canadian Loud, an imported strong synthetic strain of cannabis.
SP Hundeyin reacting in a viral snippet of the song on X, expressed worry about the lyrics, noting that illicit drug is a precursor for crime.
The PPRO wrote, “He does what on Mondays and Saturdays? Help me listen.
“Like Asa said, there is fire on the mountain and nobody seems to be on the run…
“Fact: Half of the young ones in prison today wouldn’t be there if they didn’t do drugs. Drugs is a precursor to everything bad.
“Eni a wi fun…”
The song currently charts at No. 42 on the Apple NG music charts.
