HOURS after confirming his return to Nigeria, the Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the arrest of Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley over the death of his former signee, Mohabd.
The Marlian Record boss, who has been on the receiving end after the death of Mohbad, has now returned to the country on Tuesday to help with the Police investigation activities.
On Tuesday night, Naira Marley wrote on X, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
The news of his arrest was confirmed via a tweet by the Lagos State Police Command PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, via his X handle.
“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…#justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad.”
Recall that another person alleged to be involved in the death of Mohbad, Sam Larry has also been arrested as investigation continues on the death of Mohbad.
