Nobody ate anybody’s money - Dj Neptune replies Laycon

Laycon had recently called out DJ Neptune on social media over unpaid royalties for their collaboration ‘Nobody Icons’ Remix’ released four years ago.

POPULAR Nigerian disc jockey, Imohiosen Patrick, aka DJ Neptune, has denied the allegations that he defrauded music artist and former BBNaija winner Laycon.

Laycon had recently called out DJ Neptune on social media over unpaid royalties for their collaboration ‘Nobody Icons’ Remix’ released four years ago.

Reacting to this, DJ Neptune during his appearance on the recent episode of the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast claimed that he didn’t defraud the singer.

“Laycon is my brother regardless. Let me just establish here that nobody ate anybody’s money. I want to believe that you’ve knowledge of the music business. 

“When you’ve a deal with a distro company or a label and you’re being given advanced marketing money to push the music, the video or whatnot. They’ve to recoup. It’s a return on investment,” he said.

Concluding his answer, DJ Neptune made it known that he was not happy with the way Laycon called him out on social media while noting that the issue would be resolved.
