How Olamide inspired my debut album- Victony

NIGERIAN singer, Anthony Victor, aka Victony, has opened up on the role top rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide, played to the success of his debut album.

Speaking in a recent interview with Channels TV, Victony said: “Shout out to Olamide again. Olamide is basically the reason why I have an album.

"He encouraged me to go for it. I wanted to put out a smaller body of work like an EP because I didn’t think I was ready for an album, but after meeting Olamide and the words of encouragement he gave to me....

“Someone at that level making out time for people in my generation to make sure that we are making the right moves and doing what is necessary for our careers, I had to give him a shout-out to let people know he was part of everything that has to do with my album.”

The album titled “Stubborn” contains 14 tracks and features Asake, Shalipopi, Ktizo, and other artists. The album is currently third in Apple NG's top album.
