NIGERIA musical acts seem to have taken over the 2022 Grammy award nomination list released in the later hours of yesterday, November 23, 2021.
Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems and Femi Kuti, and Made Kuti, sons of legend musical artist Fela Kuti, have all been given a chance to take the prestigious award home in 2022.
Wizkid, Burna Boy, Femi Kuti and Made Kuti all got nominations in the "Global Music Album and Global Music Performance" categories for the 2022 Grammys.
Wizkid's Made In Lagos (Deluxe) album, and Legacy+ by Femi Kuti and Made Kuti got nominations in the "Best Global Music Album", while Wizkid and Tems' Essence, and Burna Boy's Do Yourself by Angelique Kidjo got a nomination for "Best Global Music" Performance.
This is the third time in a row that Burna Boy will be nominated for the Grammy awards, which is set to be presented on the 31st of January 2022.
