SOON-to-be wife to Davido, Chioma Rowland has recounted how the Grammy-nominated singer surprised her with a bridal shower party.
According to the well-known chef, Davido tricked her into attending the bridal shower event by telling her they were going on a dinner date somewhere secret.
On getting to the venue she noticed it wasn’t a dinner setting and started complaining that she was hungry only to see balloons and decorations, realising it was a surprise party.
“Let me tell you a story. I know this is an event centre and David said we were going to eat.
“He was trying to get the exact location and when we got outside, he asked somebody something and I said, ‘This is not a restaurant. I’m hungry, I want to eat.’ Then I saw balloons, I just started screaming,” she said.
The bridal shower comes ahead of their highly anticipated wedding that will take place on June 25 in Lagos. Meanwhile, wedding pictures have swept the internet with many demanding that the LASG declare a public holiday for the event.
