THE former President of the United States of America, Barack Obama has released a list of his favourite songs for the year as he had done in previous years.
The list, which was released on December 29, 2023, comprises a list of Nigerian artists as well as artists from Africa, America, and other parts of the world.
Superstars, Davido, Asake, Burna Boy, and Tems are among the Nigerian artists to be listed in the former President's list for their various hit songs that topped musical charts all over the world.
Burna Boy's single 'Sitting' On Top Of The World' featuring 21 Savage, which was nominated for the Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2024 Grammy, made the list. Tems single 'Me & U' also made the list.
Davido's smash hit 'Unavailable' featuring Musa Keys, which got a 2024 Grammy nomination, made the list alongside Asake's 'Amapiano' featuring Olamide, which also earned a 2024 Grammy nomination.
