NIGERIAN singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has announced his support of Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States of America.
This comes after President Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic Party candidate on Sunday and endorsed his Vice, Kamala Harris, as the party’s flagbearer.
Charly Boy believes that America needs a black female President and has sworn to divorce his wife of 47 years if Kamala does not win the election.
He wrote in Pidgin on X: “If dis my crush, Kamala Harris no win the USA presidential election, I swear, I go divorce my wife of 47yrs.
“After the first Black Male President, America deserves the first Black Female President. Sorry rednecks. Dats how we Roll,” he added.
Kamala Harris is yet to be officially nominated as the Democratic Party’s candidate despite Biden’s endorsement as we await votes and decision from delegates.
