THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, played host to the medical mission and free food distribution of Mr Seyi Tinubu, the son of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Local Government Secretariat, Akowonjo on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Represented by a team of medical experts and gentlemen, Mr Seyi Tinubu provided free health services through consultation on all kinds of medical ailments and the consequent drug administration based on present and previous needs.
Beneficiaries were also presented with a food pack to relieve them of the present economic situation, with over 1000 persons as recipients.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman appreciated Mr Seyi Tinubu for bringing forth such initiative, which should be emulated by everyone, especially the political office holders.
According to him, “Mr Seyi Tinubu is doing what he has done due to his love for the people, which is lacking in many political office holders today. As a result, following this gesture, if he is given an opportunity to serve in any capacity, he will do more.”
According to Mr Seyi Tinubu's team, the free health mission and free food distribution were planned to be held at some selected LGA/LCDAs in Lagos State, including Alimosho.
While Alimosho Local Government is now in the league of the first set of beneficiaries, more LGA/LCDAs will benefit in the near future as they deem it planned.
