THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, today, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, commissioned the newly reconstructed Ajibola Adaramoye Street and Dotun Adewale Close.
The projects were facilitated by the Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi).
Opeyemi Yusuf, the Chief Press Secretary to the council boss, reiterated that the two-in-one road project which included the construction of drainages and asphalting of the two streets was carried out to ameliorate the sufferings of the residents of Ajibola Adaramoye Street and Dotun Adewale Close, especially when it rains.
While speaking during the commissioning of the project, Hon. Jelili stated clearly that the project is aimed at improving the standard of living of the residents and curbing the perennial flooding that usually affects the area when it rains.
He consequently requested that any adjustment needed to ensure that the project achieves its aims should be further communicated for immediate solution.
Other officials present at the event include the APC Alimosho LGA party Chairman, Hon. Tosin Fatoki, the immediate past Vice-Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Francis Adebisi, the immediate past Secretary of Alimosho Local Government Hon. Dare Ogunkoya, the Ward A Councillor, Alimosho LGA, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf and residents of the areas.
